[2007-01-05] The Arches Restaurant

The Arches Restaurant is one of the well known local restaurants in Newport Beach, California. It has been around for many years. Located right on Pacific Coast Highway, the old-fashioned little building has a giant sign right next to it. You won't miss it.

Great food and warm service. This is the kind of restaurant I would love to come back for another fine dinning experience.

[2007-01-07] Class 302 Taiwanese Cuisine

We drove around Rowland Heights area not knowing where and what to eat until this cute little restaurant caught our eyes. I've been in U.S. for 14 years and already forgotten what real Taiwanese cusine should taste like. I looked at the restaurant, and lots of childhood memories started to pour in to my mind. Hopefully, the taste of real Taiwanese cusine would come back to me, too, I thought, as sitting down in an old-school like dinning area.

Class 302 has several "attraction" to keep surprising their first time customers both inside and outide the restaurant.

Pig blood. Yes, you read it right. It is pig blood.

Old-fashioned lunch box.

Stinky tofu - really, they smile so good =)

Many people may think this place is over priced. Well, I agree, but hey, I also had a wondering dinning experience.
